Going to Third year!

Just realize it is almost the end of summer. Here are the drawings i did this summer. My animals drawing, not much, did not go to Toronto Zoo as often as last year. again, thanks Pierre, our zoo trip guide.

The drawing below is a still life painting! I can not believe i finished this painting, I thought I will never touch gouache again. I am glad i did, thanks Sustai and Tian invited me to draw flowers

the story beats based on a poem, sadly, i did not develop the storyboard very well~~'

here is the story i spend almost half of the semester! including character design, layout, painting, animation, and storyboard. this is my first taste to make a real animated film. thanks for all the brilliant suggestions and ideas from professors and friends.  the final Leica reel have a different ending from my storybeats, but i am happy with the new ending. still need to improve, however, i think it is the time to move on.

there are so much more fields waiting for me to touch...
